The night would soon fall and I was ready to leave, twilight a between time that should be used well. I had to get to the forest glade to catch the moment right. My cape on and knee high boots buckled for the wet ground. I am sure that I cut a sight, Goth like clothing, cape billowing and determined look. I had my tools with in a leather [restricted content]
weather was a cliché, it had rained and the air was clean and world washed and ready.

I entered the forest and paused for a brief blessing and acknowledgment of the forest beings, asking them to hasten with me. The sharp light of the setting sun cast beams through the trees in a sharp sheets and I could see the fairies gathering and birds flying and foxes moving towards the place where all doors could be opened. My heart beat in excitement as I had finally understood how to make it happen. The air breathed was rich with leaves and crushed grass, I breathed our universe in already feeling the light falling into me and my being altering as I made haste I morphed.

into crow and took flight into a glorious burst of speed through the trees rejoicing in the world being the way it is. As I drew closer to the holy place I slowed down and hit the forest floor running. Aware that all my friends were with me.

The glade glowed with promise as I stepped into the other place, feeling the world ripple behind me. I moved to the alter, not needing to draw a circle as this was protected enough. I set my knapsack down and drew out my anathame, chalice, candles and the natural objects that represented the elements. I breathed into them asked their presence, placing each at the assigned places. A feather for air, some tobacco for fire, a shell for water, and a stone for earth, lit the candles at all four corners and I felt their blessing arrive and lay down on the alter, already in trance state. I called you – I called you from the dimension that lived alongside mine, I called you with my heart and soul, as I knew you were waiting.

The light was blinding for a brief moment, and there you were, sitting at the foot of the alter all serene, your green eyes piercing me clothed in nothing but the sky. I took you in and felt my emotions I my gut and aware that my breath had quickened and that I too was sky clad. The scars of my battles not anywhere to be seen, I was once again in my pure state.

Your thought presence filled my mind as a melody that touches hear strings, I felt rather than heard you.

“What took you so long?” your eyebrows arching, as you moved round me and trailed your fingers from my feet slowly up my legs, torso, playing briefly in tantalising swirls round my breasts to rest on my lips. I grabbed your wrist before you went further and sucked each finger my all the while staring at you – your breath too now quickening.

I climbed down from the alter and took her in my arms to hold, simply hold. Relishing the way we fit perfectly. Breast to breast, hip to hip, thigh to thigh. Looking over your shoulder I opened my eyes and there sat Fox looking bored as usual. Waiting, patiently with crow, cat, dog, horse and other feather and fur. The only presence was in spirit was the beings of water, their holographs shimmering alongside. I was reminded what I had brought back from the 21st century dimension as this was not too far from their future. I reverently drew the sandalwood box out of my knapsack. A lovingly crafted box that held something that only you and I could bring forth.

Our friends moved closer their delight evident for at last they were to given the gift back that was stolen by the early mages of earth. Those mages that shattered Atlantes and captured something that we had lost and longed for in our souls. As we sat with our horses and pets each of us has longed for this very thing that seemed to shimmer just out of reach. I opened the hallowed container. There within lay the two diamond cut crystals on platinum chains their joy already flowing into us. We placed them over one another, resting between our breasts, our heart and throat chakras opening. We felt the warmth flow through us and melted into one another’s arms. Our kisses deepening mouths slick over one another, the desire pulling at us, the crystals filling us with desire so sweet we both could only hold onto each other and feel the energy move through us - we drew apart and welcomed our friends in the same mind song that had been sung for centuries. The temperature plummeted briefly and the song issued from us ringing clearly across the glade. Not a thing stirred as we sang the soul language into being once again. When at last we fell silent, horse came us and lowered his noble head. And in a rich baritone said

“We are your sons and daughters as you are ours. We must now begin this quest and come with you to sing this song all over Gaia”

Everyone clambered to say something eons of unsaid things unsaid were issuing forth. We took turns with each of the friends ensuring that the connection was true, sometimes having to sing again. There would be no chance to fail. Each had to come with us to teach the others of the Gaia. And each time the connection was tuned, the love that flowed between us just lifted us higher.

When all was accomplished our eyes met -The joy between us was palpable. We held hands, two skyclad Goddesses, knowing that we had our life purposes set well before us. I turned to you and once again took you in my arms again as the passion of the moment had me wanting you now. I drew you to the alter and lay you down. I was going to take my time with you, every inch of you would be well loved before dawn came and our mission to begin again. The candles burnt down by the time our bodies slick with sweat and the deep passion exhaustion that made our limbs languid. We saw the rising sun pick out strands on all over our sleeping friends. This life would be a long one – we all had much to accomplish…
